Centre of Decommissioning Australia (CODA) launched by the
National Energy Resources Australia (NERA).
CODA is a collaboration across the industry to address the challenges and maximise the opportunities of decommissioning Australia’s oil & gas infrastructure.
Working alongside many of the world’s leading Oil & Gas Operators, such as Chevron, Woodside Energy, Santos, Esso Australia, Vermilion Oil & Gas Australia, and BHP, and service and research organizations, such as Baker Hughes, Atteris, Linch-Pin, Xodus Group and Curtin University, the announcement strengthens AGR’s position as an industry leader in well and field abandonment projects.
The lawsuit, filed by the four individuals as well as the Illinois State Rifle Association and the gun-rights group Second Amendment Foundation, claims the state’s concealed carry law is unconstitutional.

Shearwater GeoServices framework agreements for 4D towed streamer seismic acquisition on the Norwegian continental shelf (NCS). The agreements have a total estimated value of around
NOK 700 million. This is a new way of working with seismic suppliers. We are moving away from annual tenders towards a more long-term collaboration model. This will ensure improved predictability and more sustainable rates for suppliers in the seismic industry that is traditionally exposed to significant cyclicality, says Peggy Krantz-Underland, Equinor’s chief procurement officer.
PGS and Shearwater have been awarded generic framework agreements covering 4D seismic services on the NCS for a firm period of two years starting in 2021. The agreements include two two-year options and can also be applied for the UK continental shelf.

LONDON, March 10, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) has released a new study supported by Jigsaw, a unit within Google that forecasts and confronts emerging digital threats, delving into the prevalence and impact of online violence against women on a global scale. Measuring the prevalence of online violence against women reveals that nearly 40% of women surveyed have been harassed online whilst the vast majority (85%) have witnessed harassment or other forms of online violence.
